Five minutes with... Rebecca Wakefield, interior designer at Studio Fortnum

It’s been a while since we caught up with interior designer Rebecca Wakefield, so we thought we’d catch up – over a cuppa, naturally.

Hey Rebecca! You’ve had HydroTap Celsius Arc for the best part of five years now – are you still enjoying it as much as you did initially?

We still absolutely love it! We wouldn’t be without it, that’s for sure. It’s so convenient, especially in our busy family household. I now have three little ones, so cooking pasta for their tea in half the time is fantastic. We really do use it all the time.

A little bird tells us you moved house..?

That’s right, but of course our HydroTap had to come with us! It was really easy to re-fit into our existing kitchen, which was great. The house is very much a project, in fact we’re due to move out soon so the extension and renovation can start – so watch this space! I’m excited to create my dream family kitchen.

What has impressed you most about HydroTap?

The quality is exceptional – the temperature of the water is perfect, it’s actually really hot, unlike some of the cheaper models out there. We’ve also been really impressed with the finish (brushed gold) – it looks as good as it did on day one.

Have you found that you’re specifying filtered water taps more and more?

Definitely! These sorts of products are becoming a kitchen necessity. People want convenience as well as fresh-tasting water, so having one is a no-brainer. For high-end, luxury projects I nearly always recommend Zip as I can personally vouch for HydroTap

Thanks, Rebecca!
